Calgary Housing Stats - June 2020

Buyers came out of hiding and many of them put pen to paper.

After 3 months of getting slammed by COVID-19, the Calgary real estate market took a serious turn in June. As soon as some of the restrictions were lifted, we saw an increase in sales of 667 from May, down only 2% from June of 2019.

That being said, we are technically still in the midst of the first wave of the virus, the unemployment rate remains high and inventory is on the rise… with so much uncertainty, it’s unclear as to what the rest of the summer will see.
